- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/2 c. Crisco oil (use only Crisco)
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix oleo, water, oil and cocoa; bring to boil in a saucepan. Pour over flour and sugar and mix well.

2Add baking soda to buttermilk; add to flour mixture and add eggs and vanilla.

3Mix well and pour into greased oblong pan.

4Bake for approximately 30 minutes in a 350° oven.

5Frost while warm.
