- 1 cup All purpose flour
- 60 grams Cold butter
- 3/4 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 Egg (half for the dough and the other half for the egg wash later)
Directions

1Mixed the baking powder into the flour

2Cut the cold butter into small pieces and rub into the the flour mixture until breadcrumb-like.

3Do not overwork the flour and butter.

4Add the shredded cheese into the butter flour mixture .

5Incorporate the milk and half an egg into the mixture and mix gently until it forms a dough.

6Again, don't over mix.

7Roll the dough until it is half an inch thick and use a cutter to cut into about 10 round biscuits.

8Mixed the remaining half an egg with some milk for the egg wash. Brush the biscuits with the egg wash and bake them at 210 Celsius for about 11 mins.
