- 1 1/2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 3 1/2 c. bread flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. and 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 (28 oz.) can plum tomatoes
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 10 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 lb. Italian sliced sausage
- olive oil
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.

2Add 1 tablespoon sugar and stir well.

3In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients (flour, salt and 1 teaspoon sugar).

4Add oil, second 1/2 cup water and yeast mixture.

5Mix to form dough; knead 3 to 5 minutes.

6Let rise in a covered bowl until doubled (1 1/2 hours).

7Spread on a 14-inch pizza pan (greased).

8Preheat oven to 475°.

9Prick dough all over and bake 4 minutes.
