  • 1 large fryer, boiled and deboned
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 small can English peas, drained
  • 1 c. sliced cooked carrots
  • 1 c. sliced cooked potatoes
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 soup can water

    Lightly salt chicken.

    Melt margarine in a large casserole dish.

    Arrange chicken in bottom of dish.

    Layer carrots, peas and potatoes over chicken.

    Mix soup and water together and pour over vegetables.

    Blend flour and milk and pour over casserole.

    Bake at 350° until brown.
