- 1 hen or 6 thighs and 6 legs
- cornbread
- 2 c. chopped celery
- 2 c. chopped onions
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 stick margarine
- 6 or 8 chopped hard-boiled eggs
Directions

1Cook a hen or thighs and legs.

2Bake cornbread to make dressing.

3Add celery and onions to broth after chicken is removed.

4Add salt and pepper to taste; add margarine.

5Crumble bread into broth.

6Add eggs.

7Add deboned chopped chicken.

8If mixture is too dry, add milk; if too thin, add more cornbread. Pour into greased baking dish and bake until a light brown at 350°.
