  • 1 pkg. Spanish rice
  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 carrots, cut in cubes
  • 3 stalks celery, cut in cubes
  • 1/4 tsp. dry thyme
  • 2 packets beef bouillon
  • 1/4 lb. butter

    Boil chicken.

    Remove from broth and let cool.

    Boil rice, onion, carrots, celery, spices and butter in chicken broth (vegetables should be crisp).

    Remove chicken from bones.

    Add the chicken to the prepared rice.

    Heat and serve.
