  • 1 (3 to 4 lb.) hen, stewed
  • 1 box spaghetti
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can pimentos, finely chopped
  • 1/2 c. green olives, finely chopped
  • 1/2 c. celery, finely chopped
  • 1 green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • grated American cheese

Directions

    Cook spaghetti in chicken broth, leaving it somewhat soupy. Lightly brown celery, pepper and onion in 2 tablespoons bacon fat. Remove chicken from bone and combine with all other ingredients. Place in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Top with grated American cheese. Bake 20 minutes (or until bubbly) at 350°.
