Chicken Broccoli Bake

  • 8 chicken breasts with skin
  • 3 c. water
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp. celery salt
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli spears
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Put chicken breasts, water, bay leaves and celery salt in large pot and simmer for 1 hour.

    Cool and discard liquid, skin and bones.

    Cook broccoli to package directions; drain and set aside.

    In saucepan, mix milk, soft cream cheese, salt, garlic salt and 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese.

    Stir; cook until thick.

    Put broccoli in bottom of greased 9 x 9-inch baking dish and pour in 1 cup sauce.

    Put in shredded chicken and pour in remaining sauce. Sprinkle with 2/3 cup of Parmesan cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
