  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • 2 Tbsp. thick salsa
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • pinch of sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 (16 oz.) can refried beans
  • 3 Tbsp. salsa
  • 1 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Cook chicken in water to cover in saucepan until tender. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup broth.

    Bone and chop chicken.

    Combine chicken, broth and next 3 ingredients; simmer for 30 minutes.

    Mix flour, baking powder, oil, sugar and salt in a bowl.

    Add water, mixing to form a ball.

    Divide into ten portions.

    Roll each portion into a circle on floured surface.
