  • 2 lbs chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 12 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 12 teaspoon basil
  • 12 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 14 cup chicken broth

Directions

    Place chicken, onion, mushrooms, salt and pepper in slow cooker.

    Combine tomato paste, garlic, oregano, basil, celery seed, bay leaf and chicken broth.

    Pour over chicken.

    Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours.

    Remove bay leaf.

    Allow to cool.

    Place in freezer bag.

    Label and freeze.

    To serve: thaw.
