Chicken Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3 large chicken breasts
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • 3 ribs celery
  • 1 beaten egg
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Cook chicken tender in 1 1/2 cups water (save broth).

    Cool. Tear into bite size pieces and place in 10 x 10-inch casserole dish.

    Cover with cream of chicken soup (undiluted).

    Chop celery and onion.

    Saute in 2 tablespoons butter until tender.

    Cool. Mix with broth from chicken, beaten egg, sage, salt and pepper. Add this mixture to enough chicken flavored Stove Top stuffing to make desired consistency.

    Top casserole with it.

    Bake in a 350° oven until golden brown.
