- 2 fat hens or 8 lb. chicken breasts
- 1 to 2 onions, chopped
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 lb. flat noodles
- 1/2 c. white raisins
- 1 c. slivered almonds
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook chicken and pour off stock (about 4 cups).

2Add onion, bay leaves and flat noodles to stock; boil 7 minutes.

3Add white raisins and slivered almonds.

4Bone chicken and add.

5Mix lightly; add salt and pepper.

6Put in a greased baking dish; store in refrigerator overnight (if too dry, add broth).

7When ready to bake, spread cream of mushroom soup over mixture.

8Sprinkle top with bread crumbs and add pats of butter.

9Bake, uncovered, about 1 hour at 350°.

10Serves 16 to 20 people.
