Chicken Casserole *

  • 7 to 8 chicken breast halves
  • 1/2 pkg. Pepperidge Farm dressing
  • 1 pkg. frozen French-cut green beans or some canned beans
  • 1/2 c. sliced blanched almonds
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 can milk
  • 1/2 c. chicken broth (from stewing chicken)
  • 1 Tbsp. oleo

Directions

    Stew chicken with onion, garlic, salt and pepper to season. Butter casserole.

    Layer 2/3 cup dressing, half cooked frozen green beans, sliced almonds and chicken broken into large pieces.

    Mix soup and milk and pour over layers.

    Mix broth and melted oleo with 1 1/3 cups dressing mix and crumble over top of casserole.

    Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes at 375°.
