- 3 to 4 lb. chicken, cut up
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/4 c. oleo
- 10 1/2 oz. cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/3 c. water
- 1 1/3 c. rice (Minute)
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. grated onion
- 1/2 salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1/8 tsp. thyme
- 1 tsp. celery flakes
Directions

1Roll chicken in flour; brown in oleo.

2Remove chicken; stir in butter, soup water and seasonings.

3Bring to boil.

4Spread uncooked rice into shallow baking dish.

5Pour all but 1/3 cup of mixture over rice.

6Add chicken and the rest of mixture.

7Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 1 hour.
