Ingredients

  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts
  • 3/4 lb. slivered raw chicken
  • 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed or use 1/4 tsp. garlic powder (add with salt)
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
  • 1 (9 oz.) pkg. Birds Eye French-cut green beans
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. Minute rice

Directions

    Saute chicken, mushrooms and garlic in oil in a large skillet until chicken is lightly browned.

    Add broth, beans, salt and pepper. Bring to a full boil.

    Stir in rice. Remove from heat; cover and let stand 5 minutes.

    Makes about 6 cups or 4 servings, less than 350° calories each.
