Chicken Curry

Ingredients

  • 9 - 10 half breasts of chicken
  • 2 medium onions sliced and separated into rings
  • 4 tsp. curry powder
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms
  • 2 c. celery, sliced diagonally
  • 3 cans mushroom soup
  • 3 cans tomato soup

Directions

    Cook the chicken (boil it !). Cool and cut into bite size pieces.

    Saute the celery and onion in a little margarine until tender crisp; set aside.

    Simmer the soups and curry powder for at least one hour.

    Add celery, onion, mushrooms and chicken and heat through.

    Serve over rice with condiments on the side.

    Peanuts, raisins, currants, green onion, bacon bits, coconut, green pepper, boiled eggs, etc.

    Serves 12 - 16.
