Ingredients
- 1 large fat fresh hen
- 1 doz. boiled eggs
- 1 large onion
- 3 or 4 ribs celery
- 1 pkg. bread crumbs
- 1 can cream of chicken herb soup
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 or 3 tsp. sage
- 1 pkg. gizzards
- 3 or 4 c. livers
Directions

1Boil hen, gizzards and livers until tender.

2Bake a large, flat pan of Egg Bread.

3Saute onion and celery in butter until tender. Cut up all meat, 3 or 4 slices of bread and 4 or 5 saltine crackers.

4Mix all.

5Take chicken off bone or leave it on.

6Bake at 350° until brown.

7Put a little bacon drippings on top.
