- 1 small fryer, cooked, removed from bone and cut into bite size pieces
- 2 1/2 c. plain White Lily flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/3 c. Crisco
- 1 c. sweet milk
Directions

1Mix dough.

2Roll out to about the same thickness as pie crust, prick dough with fork & cut into 2 inch wide strips then break into pieces about 2 inches long.

3Add enough water to broth to make about 2 qts.

4Bring broth to boil, add chicken & dumplings & salt & pepper to taste.

5This makes enough to serve 8-10 people.
