- 2 or 3 c. plain flour
- 3/4 c. Crisco
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
Directions

1Pick chicken off of bones.

2Mix flour and Crisco.

3Add 1 1/2 cups of chicken broth until very stiff.

4Roll out; pinch off into chicken and hot broth.

5Let cook until the dumplings are done.
