- 1 qt. chicken stock
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. cold water
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Directions

1Strain broth in which chicken was stewed.

2Measure 1 quart broth into a saucepan.

3Bring to a boil.

4Combine flour and water; stir in some of the hot broth.

5Cook until thickened, 15 to 20 minutes.

6Season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
