  • chicken livers
  • cloves of garlic, chopped
  • chopped onions
  • black pepper
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 c. fine breadcrumbs
  • 3 Tbsp. onion, diced
  • 1 (8 oz.) jellied cranberry sauce, blackberry jam or grape jelly (either of the three works great)
  • 6 oz. jar chili sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Mix first 5 ingredients and form into 25 to 30 small balls.

    Bake 20 to 25 minutes, turning once or microwave on High for 5 minutes.
