  • 3 Tbsp. shortening
  • 3 lb. chicken parts (great with boneless and skinless)
  • 1 lb. (about 16) small whole white onions or 2 regular onions, chunked
  • 1 (10 oz.) can tomato soup
  • 1 can golden mushroom soup
  • 1 medium garlic clove, minced

Directions

    In large skillet, brown chicken in shortening; drain.

    Stir in remaining ingredients.

    Cover; cook over low heat for 45 minutes or until tender.

    Stir now and then.

    Uncover; cook until desired consistency.
