Chicken Marsala

  • 1 lb. chicken cutlets, thinly sliced
  • 3 or 4 cloves crushed garlic
  • 1/2 c. Marsala wine
  • 1 lb. mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
  • flour
  • 4 Tbsp. oil

Directions

    Brown garlic in 4 tablespoons oil.

    Remove garlic.

    Then add lightly floured chicken and saute on each side until lightly browned.

    Remove to baking dish.

    Add mushrooms to oil, adding a little more oil, if necessary.

    Saute mushrooms, stirring constantly, for a few minutes.

    Then add Marsala wine, stir together for a minute or two and then pour over chicken.

    Cover with foil and bake at 350° for approximately 30 minutes.
