Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 to 3 boneless chicken breasts, skinned
  • choice of dip (honey, barbecue, sweet and sour)

Directions

    Combine all ingredients, except chicken and dipping sauce. Mix well. Cut chicken breasts in nugget size pieces.

    Dip nuggets in batter and fry in hot oil (375°). Drain on paper towels and dip in favorite sauce.
