Ingredients

  • 2 lb. boneless skinless chicken
  • 1/4 c. tomato paste
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 c. chopped carrots
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 tsp. paprika
  • 3/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 2 c. sour cream or plain yogurt

Directions

    Put onion and carrots in bottom of crock-pot or cooking pot. Cut chicken into strips and season with salt and pepper.

    Roll in flour to coat.

    Place chicken on top of onion and carrots. Combine remaining ingredients except sour cream.

    Pour over top of chicken.

    Cover and cook on high (crock-pot) or low (stove) for 3 to 4 hours.

    Dish is done when carrots are very tender.

    Just before serving, stir in sour cream.

    Serve over noodles.
