  • 12 chicken breasts
  • 16 oz. currant jelly
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. allspice
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Place chicken in uncovered roasting pan; do not overlap.

    Mix remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

    Simmer 5 minutes.

    Pour over chicken and bake at 400° for 15 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 350° and bake 30 minutes, basting several times.
