- 2 to 4 whole chicken breasts, halved
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken/mushroom soup
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. sherry cooking wine
Directions

1Season breasts with salt and pepper.

2Melt butter in skillet or frying pan, brown chicken on both sides.

3Arrange chicken, onion and mushrooms in baking pan or casserole dish.

4Mix remaining ingredients together in separate bowl; pour over chicken.

5Bake in 400° oven for 40 to 50 minutes.
