- 1-1/2 lb. chicken wings
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. cold water
- 2/3 cup finely chopped toasted almonds
- peanuts
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 cup butter
- margarine, melted
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375F.

2Cut off wing tips.

3Divide each wing in half by cutting through joint with a sharp knife.

4Combine egg with water.

5Combine almonds with flour, salt and ginger.

6Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture, then roll in nut mixture to coat well.

7Place in a 13x9-inch baking pan.

8Pour butter over chicken.

9Bake for 45 to 55 minutes until deep golden brown and crisp.

10Drain on paper towels.

11For an entree, prepare with larger chicken pieces, increasing baking time to 55 to 65 minutes.
