  • 4 to 6 chicken breasts, cooked and boned
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 c. chicken broth

Directions

    Cook chicken; debone and skin.

    Place chicken in long baking dish.

    Mix soup and broth and pour mixture over chicken.

    In saucepan melt margarine.

    Add buttermilk, flour, salt and pepper (makes a batter).

    Pour over chicken and bake at 425° until crust is golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
