- 1 (2 1/2 lb.) chicken
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Cook the chicken in salted water until done; remove from bones.

2Place in greased casserole dish.

3In saucepan, mix the chicken broth and soup.

4Bring to boil and pour over chicken.

5In a bowl, mix the flour, buttermilk, margarine and pepper to form batter; spoon batter over broth.

6Bake at 425° for 25 to 30 minutes.
