- 1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) chicken
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
Directions

1Boil chicken on medium heat for 1 hour.

2Reserve 1 1/4 cups of broth from cooked chicken.

3After chicken has cooled, remove from the bone and put in a greased 11 1/2 x 7 x 2-inch casserole dish. Melt one stick of margarine and pour over chicken.

4Add one cup of milk to one cup of flour and mix well.

5Pour over chicken.

6Add 1 1/4 cups of reserved broth to the can of cream of mushroom soup and bring to a boil over medium heat.

7After soup comes to a boil, pour over chicken.

8Bake in a 425° oven for 40 minutes or until golden.
