- pastry for 2 crusts
- 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 3/4 c. chicken broth
- 2/3 c. milk
- 2 c. cooked chicken, torn up
- onions
- celery
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Cook chicken with onions, celery, salt and pepper.

2Melt butter or margarine in a pan.

3Add flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper; stir and bring to a boil.

4Add chicken broth and milk; cook slowly until thickened.

5Add torn up chicken.

6Line pie plate with pastry.

7Pour chicken mixture into pan.

8Add top crust.

9Bake at 425° for 35 minutes.
