- 1 (3 lb.) chicken
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 2 c. reserved chicken broth
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cook chicken until done.

2Pick meat from bone; reserve broth. Place small pieces of chicken in bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

3In saucepan, mix and bring to boil soup and chicken broth.

4In another bowl, mix margarine, pepper, salt, flour and buttermilk.

5Pour broth mix over chicken and spoon batter over top.

6Bake at 425° for 25 to 30 minutes.
