- 3 lb. chicken, cut up
- 8 Tbsp. butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. rice
- 3 medium onions, chopped
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
- dash of cinnamon, cloves and allspice
Directions

1Brown chicken in 4 tablespoons butter and spices.

2Add onion and brown.

3Add tomato sauce and 1 can water.

4Cover and simmer until chicken is tender.

5Add 2 cups boiling water.

6Stir in 1 cup of rice; cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

7When ready to serve, brown 4 tablespoons butter and pour over chicken and rice.
