Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 broiler chicken or 3 to 4 breasts
  • 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can Veg-All, drained
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • optional: extra-thin sliced vegetables (carrots, celery, etc.)

Directions

    Boil chicken.

    Cut off bone and into pieces.

    Save 1 1/2 cups chicken broth.

    Combine chicken, broth, soup and vegetables.

    Pour into a 13 x 9-inch casserole.

    Mix together milk and flour.

    Add margarine and stir well.

    Pour over entire top of chicken mixture. Bake uncovered at 350° for 45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
