Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken, boiled and deboned
  • potatoes and carrots, cooked and cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 small can sweet peas
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 2 Tbsp. corn starch
  • 4 ready made pie crusts

Directions

    Save the water the chicken was boiled in to boil the vegetables.

    Place all of the ingredients (except corn starch and peas) in a saucepan.

    Bring to a boil.

    Mix corn starch in 1/2 cup cold water and add to pot as a thickener.

    Add small can of peas and salt and pepper to taste.

    Remove from heat and pour into 2 of the pie crusts.

    Top with 2 remaining crusts.

    Cut slits in top for steam to escape.

    Bake at 350° until tops are brown and filling is steaming hot.

    Place on cookie sheet to avoid excess spillage.
