- 1 (3 lb.) chicken or pieces
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 1 carrot, cut up
- 1/2 c. frozen peas
- 1 can undiluted cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Boil chicken until tender.

2Drain, reserving 2 cups broth. Cool, debone and cut chicken into bite size pieces.

3In a long baking dish, layer chicken, eggs, carrots and peas.

4Spread undiluted soup over this.

5Pour the 2 cups of broth over layers. Melt margarine in a small bowl.

6Stir in flour, then milk.

7(Will have some small lumps.)

8Spoon this over the layers in the baking dish.

9Do not stir.

10Bake at 350° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until golden brown.

11Makes 8 to 12 servings.
