Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can reduced fat condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 3 c. chicken, cubed
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen peas and carrots, thawed
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 (15 oz.) pie crust

Directions

    In large bowl, mix together soup, milk, chicken, peas, carrots and pepper.

    Preheat oven to 425°.

    Unfold one pie crust; place in a 9-inch pie plate.

    Press firmly against plate.

    Pour filling mixture into pie crust.

    Cover with remaining pie crust; seal edges.

    Brush beaten egg over top of pie crust.

    Using a sharp knife, cut 1-inch slits in top of crust (steam vent).

    Place pie on a rimmed baking sheet.

    Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until crust is golden.

    Cool 10 minutes before serving.
