Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken or 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c. broth
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. milk
  • onions, chopped
  • potatoes, sliced thin

Directions

    Boil chicken and take off bone.

    Then put chicken in bottom of casserole dish.

    Sprinkle with pepper and/or poultry seasoning. Put onions and potatoes on top of chicken.

    Mix both soups and broth together and pour over vegetables and chicken.

    Do not stir. Mix flour, baking powder, margarine (melted) and milk together. Pour over top.

    Bake at 350° until lightly browned.
