- 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 7 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. crushed rosemary or poultry seasoning
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 3 c. cubed chicken or turkey
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas and carrots, cooked and drained
- 1/4 c. chopped pimento
Directions

1Use a double pie crust to fit a 9 x 13-inch pan.

2In saucepan, melt butter or margarine.

3Add onion; cook until tender.

4Stir in flour, salt, rosemary or poultry seasoning and pepper.

5Add broth; stir to mix well.

6Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.

7Stir in cubed chicken, vegetables and pimento; heat until bubbly.

8Pour mixture into pan on top of bottom crust.

9Cover with top crust; cut holes for steam release.

10Bake in a 450° oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
