  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 c. biscuit mix
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
  • 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 2 c. cubed, cooked chicken
  • 1 lb. bag frozen mixed vegetables (any variety), partially thawed
  • 2 c. biscuit mix
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1/4 c. water

    Cook onion in margarine in large saucepan until tender.

    Stir in biscuit mix, pepper and thyme.

    Add chicken broth and evaporated milk.

    Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.

    Cook and stir 1 minute more.

    Add chicken and vegetables.

    Heat until bubbly; reduce heat and keep warm.
