- 2 to 3 lb. chicken thighs/wings
- 1/3 c. water
- 1/3 c. soy sauce
- 2 slices fresh ginger root
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. dry sherry
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
Directions

1Combine all ingredients in large saucepan and bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

2Stir occasionally to give all pieces an equal turn in the liquid.

3After 20 minutes of cooking, remove the cover and increase the heat slightly and continue cooking for about 15 more minutes.

4This is when the magic begins; because of the sugar in the liquid.

5It will begin to thicken into a beautiful rich brown glaze coating each piece with incredible goodness!

6Toss and stir to coat each piece with sauce as it thickens.

7Serve with Chicken Rice-A-Roni.
