- 3 or 4 lb. chicken
- 3 1/2 qt. water
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 c. egg noodles
Directions

1Cover chicken with cold water and cook slowly for 3 hours or longer.

2Remove chicken from broth and use for chicken salad.

3Add seasoning, minced celery and noodles.

4Boil 1/2 hour longer. Serve hot.
