  • 1 large chicken (3 1/2 to 4 lb.)
  • 6 qt. water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 c. regular rice
  • 1 1/4 c. crushed fine noodles (crush very fine)

Directions

    Cut up chicken and simmer in water with salt for 1 1/2 hours. Remove chicken to cool.

    Add noodles and rice to broth and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
