- 1 hen or large fryer
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 small chopped onion
- salt
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 large can tomatoes
- 2 c. chopped pitted ripe olives
- 1 can mushrooms (optional)
- small jar chopped pimento
- 9 oz. spaghetti
- grated cheese
Directions

1Boil chicken until tender with bay leaves and small onion and salt.

2Cool and cut in pieces.

3Simmer in fat of hen for one hour the large onion, bell pepper, celery and tomatoes.

4Add ripe olives, mushrooms and pimento.

5Cook 9 ounces spaghetti in salted chicken broth.

6Drain.

7Mix together chicken, sauce and spaghetti. Put on serving dish, topping with grated cheese.
