Chicken Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 (5 lb.) hen or small turkey
  • 2 c. chopped celery
  • 2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 large green peppers, chopped
  • 1 lb. spaghetti
  • 1 can pimento, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 lb. American cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Boil chicken until tender or bake small turkey.

    Remove from bone and cut in small pieces.

    Saute onions, celery and green peppers until limp in margarine, but not brown.

    Cook spaghetti in chicken broth; drain.

    Add all other ingredients except cheese. Place half in large baking pan; add half of the cheese.

    Place other half chicken mixture and rest of the cheese.

    Bake at 375° about 25 minutes.

    Yield: 20 servings.
