Chicken Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 large chicken or 4 breasts
  • 2 tsp. bacon drippings
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 can tomato sauce (16 oz., sometimes more)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 4 ribs celery
  • 1 can tomato paste (6 oz.)
  • 1 bell pepper
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 1 bay leaf
  • dried parsley
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 c. broth (usually less)

Directions

    Boil chicken in seasoned water. Save broth.

    Bone chicken and cut into large pieces.

    Saute onions, garlic, celery, bell pepper and green onions in hot grease.

    Add parsley.

    Add to this the 3 tomato products and seasonings.

    Thin mixture with broth and add chicken. Cover and simmer 1 hour.

    Serve over spaghetti.
