Ingredients

  • 1 fat hen (4 to 5 lb.)
  • 1 1/3 lb. spaghetti
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 can Red Cross tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 4 onions, cut fine
  • 8 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 lb. grated Italian cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. lard
  • 1 Tbsp. flour

    Cut chicken in pieces and put in pot.

    Cover with water and boil until not quite tender.

    Take chicken out of pot and boil down to one cup.
