Chicken Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 (4 or 5 lb.) hen
  • 1 stick (1/4 lb.) oleo
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 1/2 lb. grated American cheese
  • 1/2 lb. grated Old English cheese
  • 1 medium diced, chopped onion
  • 1 large can mushrooms
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 box ready-cut spaghetti, cooked in same water that chicken was cooked in

Directions

    Cook hen in salt water (little onion and celery to taste). Make cream sauce of oleo, flour and milk.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Saute green pepper in mushroom juice.

    Bone chicken and cut in cubes.

    Add cheese, mushrooms, onion, green pepper, cooked spaghetti and cream sauce.

    Mix well and bake in buttered baking dish for 30 minutes at 350° (or a little longer until brown).
