Ingredients
- 1 large hen
- 6 large onions, chopped
- 1 large stalk celery
- 2 (No. 303) cans tomatoes
- 1 can mushrooms (cut) and juice or substitute mushroom soup
- 2 large pkg. spaghetti
- 1 button garlic
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 can English peas
Directions

1Boil hen until tender; add water to make 2 quarts.

2Set aside. Cut onions, celery, pepper and garlic.

3Cover and simmer until tender.

4Put paste, tomatoes, veggies and 2 cups broth in heavy pan.

5Cook slowly for 2 to 3 hours.

6Add peas and all other ingredients.

7Salt to taste.

8Add water to make 2 quarts.

9Bring to a boil.
-
10Add spaghetti and cut up chicken.
-
11Mix well.
-
12Bake in covered roaster in medium oven until hot.

13Serve with grated cheese.
